Speak Like A Leader

To increase confidence level among the students of our school, we decided to make a program for our club that is called 'Speak Like A Leader'. It was conducted by our teacher advisor. This encourage students to have the braveness to speak in front of public whether in English or in Malay.

It was a fun moment and we would to thank all who were involved especially Mr. Ali Asyraf, Mrs Nor Fadzleen and Mrs Mardiana.

Recycling Fundraising Project

We all planed to raise some money to fund our club and decided to held recyling fundraising project. It was held at Kompleks Institusi Pendidikan Seri Larkin. Many of the members join this event.

    

We collected some useful recycle items and sold it to the recycling company and managed to collect around RM300 and we all have a lot of fun and exitement on that day.

Siti Noramira binti Mohd Borman Safuan

  My name is Siti Noramira binti Mohd Borman Safuan. I am from 2KRK1. I am born on 14th October 1997. My ambition is to be a doctor. My hobby is to play lawn bowls. My life motto is 'no pain, no gain'. My idol is Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. I feel priviledge to be a SLB because I want my parents to be proud of me. I just want to achieve my ambition.

Iman Fitri bin Ismail

  My name is Iman Fitri bin Ismail. I am from 4SN2. I was born in Johor Bahru on 16th February 1995. I want to be a software designer or a pianist when i grow up. I like to play pianop and playing computer games. My favourite motto is from my mother which is to 'try the best'. My idol is one of the great historical person known as John F. Kennedy. I feel priviledged to be a SLB because i get to enhance my skills on public speaking and to train my leadership skills.

Jonathan Joseph

  My name is Jonathan Joseph. I am from 3KRK1. My date of birth is 30th May 1996. My ambition is to be an IT engineer. My hobby is surfing internet, playing computer games, and fishing. I feel privileged to be a SLB member because it can create a better leadership quality in a person. Furthermore the oppurtunity offerd is priceless.

Muhammad Adam Danial bin Ismail

  My name is Muhammad Adam Danial bin Ismail. I am from 3KRK1. My date of birth is 16th August 1996. I am not ready to have an ambition. My hobbies are listening to music, watching movies and eating. My life motto is 'born this way'. My idols are Marilyn Monroe, John Lennon, Andy Warhol, Lady Gaga, Ludy Garland, and Diana Ross. I feel priviledge to be a SLB because mirrors can't speak.

Mohammad Ikmal bin Mohd Borman Safuan

  My name is Mohammad Ikmal bin Mohd Borman Safuan and from 3KRK2. I was born on 2 February 1996. My ambition is to become a teacher. My hobbies are playing football, badminton and lawn bowls. My life motto is 'be someone who has a better future'. My idol is Tun Fr. Mahathir. I feel priviledged to be a SLB because I want to gain some knowledge from everybody and I also want to become like Shafiq Azhar.

Muhamad Qayyum bin Rusli

  My name is Muhamad Qayyum bin Rusli. I am from 4SN1. I was born in Johor Bahru on 4th April 1995. I want to be a dentist. I like to play video games and badminton. My life motto is never give up to achieve success. Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed is my idol in my life. I feel priviledged to be a SLB because it will increase my self-confidence.

Ahmad Mujahid bin Mazwar

  My name is Ahmad Mujahid Mazwar. I am from 4SN2. I was born on 26th December 1995. I want to be a successful person in the future. My hobby is to explore the internet. My life motto is ''On matters of style, swim with the current, on matter of principle, stand like a rock''. My idol is my father. I feel priviledged to be SLB because i want to enhance my potential to be a leader.

Muhammad Muizuddin bin Eamizan

  My name is Muhammad Muizuddin bin Eamizan and i am from 3KRK2 in SMK Tasek Utara. I was born on 5th August 1996 at Hospital Besar in Seremban. My ambition is to be a pilot. I like to surf the internet and play rugby. My life motto is 'commitment to win'. Mi idol of my life is Albert Einstein.. I feel Priviledged to be a SLB because it can make me a good and better leader in the future.

Ainin Sofiya

  My name is Ainin Sofiya. I am from 3KAA1. My ambition is to be a doctor because I can help others. My hobbies are reading, surfing internet and swimming. Tun Mahathir Mohamad is my idol because he is a remarkable prime minister. My motto is 'study smart and you will achieve what you want'.

Lee Yi Wen

  My name is Lee Yi Wen, and now studying in class 3KRK1. I was born on 8th September 1996. I want to be a doctor when I grow up because I want to help people. Reading, listening to music and playing piano are my hobbies. My life motto is 'I believe I can, I will'. My idol is Dr. Mahathir. Last but not least, I feel priviledge to be a SLB member because this is a meaningdful decision to me.

Ambrose Huan Yee Yang

  My name is Ambrose Huan Yee Yang. I am the youngest brother in my family. I came from class 4SN1. I was born on 9th June 1995. I will like to be a successful scientist when i grow up. During free time, I like to read and sleep, playing games too at the evening, any types of game. I have an idol, he is a teacher who taught me on how to be a good person. I will always remeber that he had said youth must always find more hardships or something difficult even though it needs to pay. I feel priviledged to be a SLB because it can teach me many things which will lead me to become a good leader in future.

Hoe Zi Wei

  I am Hoe Zi Wei, now studying in class 5SN1. 1st April 1994 is my date of birth. My ambition is to become a surgeon. Reading, watching movies and music are my hobbies. I always believe in the quote 'waste no time but value the time'. Joanne Katherin Rowling is my idol, she is the writer if 'Harry Potter' series. Lastly, i feel priviledged to be a SLB member because this is a fun club and i am so proud to be in.

Muhammad Hussein Lee bin Adi Johan

  My name is Muhammad Hussein Lee bin Adi Johan. I am from class 5SN1. I was born on 8th June 1993. My ambition is to be a specialist doctor. I love to spend my time reading. My principle of life is, 'When time gets tough, tough gets going'. My idol is Maher Zain for several reasons. I feel priviledged to be a SLB because I want to gain leadership skills and more experience for my life.

Izzati Shahirah binti Aziz

  My name is Izzati Shahirah binti Aziz. I am from 5SN1. My date of birth is 25th July 1994. My ambition is to be a pharmacist and my hobby is reading. My life motto is 'the past can't be changed but tomorrow is still within my power. My idol is Dr. Syeikh Muzaphar Syukor. I feel priviledge to be a SLB because from here i can train myself to be a good leader not only for myself but also to the other people. Besides that, being a SLB also provides me to get to know many people and from that i can increase my confidence level. Lastly, I can improve myself in speaking Englis better. Thank you.

Amir Anuar Badrulhisham

  Greetings, my name is Amir Anuar Badrulhisham. You can just call me Amir. My date of birth is 23rd September 1994. I am now studying in SMK Tasek Utara in class 5SN1. I love hanging out with my friends. My friends can make me happy but sometimes they are the sources of my problems. I was determined to become an architect in the future. My idol is Nabi Muhammad and Zac Efron. I feel priviledged to join SLB because I want to make this club an active and fun club so that one day we can prove that students can do everything for a better world.    My name is Mardiana binti Idris. My date of birth os 3rd April 1997. My teaching option is TESL. I have a degree in B.Ed TESL (Hons). My hobbies are reading, writing, travelling, scuba-diving, watching movies/DVD, and window shopping. My motto is 'always make the best out of the worst in life'. My idol is Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad and Margaret Matcher.

LATAR BELAKANG

SLB ditubuhkan atas dasar melahirkan barisan pemimpin murid di peringkat sekolah yang akan dapat dilatih dan digarap potensi kepimpinan mereka agar menjadi contoh murid terbilang di peringkat sekolah berkaitan. Jabatan Pelajaran Johor merasakan bahawa telah tiba masanya satu usaha yang sistematik, terancang dan terarah diambil untuk melahirkan generasi pemimpin negeri Johor yang cemerlang lagi terbilang dalam menyediakan modal insan yang kompetitif dan unggul untuk Wilayah Pembangunan Iskandar kelak.

Penubuhan SLB juga diharapkan juga akan dapat membantu melonjakkan kecemerlangan sekolah-sekolah dan kemenjadian murid di negeri Johor. Ini selaras dengan kriteria pemilihan bagi sekolah berprestasi tinggi di negara ini yang jelas meniktikberatkan dua elemen penting berkenaan.

MATLAMAT

1. Mewujudkan satu kumpulan pemimpin muda di peringkat sekolah-sekolah negeri Johor yang akan membentuk sati legasi (legacy) dan tradisi baru dalam melahirkan generasi pemimpin masa hadapan negeri Johor yang dinamik, inovatif dan kreatif.
2. Meningkatkan kecemerlangan kepimpinan di kalangan para pelajar-pelajar cemerlang negeri Johor menerusi pendedahan dan latihan-latihan kepimpinan berhubung kemahiran-kemahiran global seperti komunikasi, hubungan antarabangsa dan diplomatik.
3. Mewujudkan satu elemen penandaarasan (benchmarking) bagi pelajar-pelajar sekolah berkaitan supaya menjadi pemimpin terbilang negeri Johor kelak.
4. Membuka ruang untuk para pelajar cemerlang negeri Johor untuk meluaskan pengalaman dan cara berfikiran dengan tugas-tugas yang bakal dipertanggungjawabkan ke atas ahli-ahli badan berkenaan.
5. Melahirkan bakal pemimpin yang berdaya saing (kompetitif) dan tahan lasak (resilient) dalam menghadapi cabaran globalisasi.
6. Menghasilkan individu-individu yang mempunyai ciri-ciri 'Glokal' yakni berfikiran secara 'global' namun mengekalkan dan mengukuhkan budaya dan ciri-ciri 'lokal'.

PERANAN & TANGGUNGJAWAB AHLI SLB

1. Menyelaraskan aktiviti-aktiviti antarabangsa sekolah.
2. Membangun dan mengendalikan website bahasa Inggeris sekolah (dengan bantuan guru-guru ICT/Webmaster dan bahasa Inggeris)
3. Wajib merangka dan melaksanakan sekurang-kurangnya satu aktiviti antarabangsa sekolah seperti:-
4. Membantu pihak sekolah menyelaras apa jua bentuk aktiviti yang akan dapat meningkatkan tahap dan potensi kepimpinan pelajar berkenaan.
5. Mengamalkan budaya kepimpinan yang cemerlang agar dapat dicontohi oleh rakan-rakan pelajar yang lain.
6. Mengamalkan budaya pemikiran inovatif dan kreatif dan sentiasa memberikan idea serta cadangan yang akan dapat memanfaatkan warga sekolah terutama sekali di kalangan rakan-rakan pelajar.

PEMARKAHAN/PENILAIAN

1. Ahli Badan Pemimpin Muda Sekolah layak mendapat markah bonus (7 markah).
2. Markah kokurikulum akan diberi berdasarkan penglibatan pelajar di dalam aktiviti yang diuruskan oleh Badan.
3. Markah penglibata di peringkat antarabangsa (maksimum 20 markah) akan diberikan kepada setiap ahli yang terlibat dalam aktiviti antarabangsa yang dijalankan oleh Badan, di dalam atau di luar negara.
4. Markah akan diberikan di bahagian penglibatan Unit Beruniform masing-masing.
